Fearless Girl!
Soooo I think everyone knows what my silhouette quilt looks like:
I don’t often (ever?) make small or wall size quilts, so this was pretty fun for me.
I think if I made it again, I would have F.G. a little bigger against the skyline. I would also draw out the ”S” instead of freehanding it in my quilting. The look like I wrote them in third grade.
What I love about it is the metallic fabric for the building, and the gradient shades of blue in the sky.
I entered it in the Iowa State Fair, and it didn’t do very well. It looked kind of crooked hanging up, and kind of forlorn. I love her anyway, and love what she represents. She will be ony wall in my quilting room soon!
Coming soon are Stacy and Shelly’s silhouette quilts, be seriously prepared to be amazed!
